Richie Henson

Certified Orthotic Fitter / Certified Pedorthotist

Richie Henson is a Certified Orthotic Fitter and Certified Pedorthist of BOC.  Richie attended Pellissippi State in Knoxville, TN and studied under Bill Kitchens to become a Licensed Pedorthist in the State of TN.  Richie has been with Choice O&P since January of 2004 and enjoys working in the field of orthotics.  Richie is married, has a son and daughter, and enjoys golf in his spare time.

Abby Chandler

Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

Abby Chandler is a Certified and Licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2004 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Abby attended the Prosthetics Certification program at University of California Dominguez Hills and has been practicing in prosthetics for almost thirteen years. Abby attended Orthotics Certification Program at Northwestern University and has been practicing in Orthotics for seven years. She is a C-leg Certified practitioner and has worked with a number of microprocessor knees and ankles. She is certified to fit the Motion Control Utah Arm and other upper extremity myoelectrics, including the Touch Bionics iLimb hand. Abby strives to keep up with advancements in Orthotics and Prosthetics.

Abby truly enjoys working in the O&P field because she feels that she is making a positive impact in each patient’s life. Abby is married and has two boys. She enjoys cycling and hiking with her husband, boys and dog, Boogie.

Skip Miller

Certified Orthotic Fitter

Skip attended Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Skip began his career in Physical Therapy in 1999 and moved into the field of Orthotics and received BOC certification in 2006. In 2014, Skip joined Choice O&P and in his work enjoys the opportunity to positively impact the lives of his patients.  Skip is married with two children and his miniature dachshund.  He enjoys fellowship with family and friends, basketball, soccer, hiking and playing guitar with the Worship Team at his Church. Skip serves as chief humorist in the office- he always has something to say to keep us laughing.

Renee Lewis

Certified Orthotist / Certified Prosthetic Assistant

Renee Lewis is a Certified Orthotist and Prosthetic Assistant. She graduated from Georgia Tech in 1997 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After over a decade working as an engineer in a manufacturing environment, Renee attended the Orthotics Certification program at Northwestern University. She then completed the Prosthetic Assistant Certification by training with Certified Prosthetists while also fulfilling her role in orthotics.

Renee enjoys finding new ways for technology to assist patients in navigating through their day to day lives. She is married and enjoys spending time outdoors with her spouse and two Labrador Retrievers.

Mary Virginia Paletta

Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

Mary Virginia Paletta is a Certified Orthotist and Prosthetist. She received her degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University in 2004. Mary Virginia then attended the Northwestern University Orthotics and Prosthetic Center in Chicago where she received her certificates in Prosthetics and Orthotics. After receiving her ABC certification she began working with pediatric patients in addition to adult orthotic and prosthetic patients. Mary Virginia has spent more than 10 years working with children and utilizing her continuing education to best serve the pediatric population. She is certified in many lower extremity and spinal techniques to achieve the best possible outcome for her adult and pediatric patients.

Mary Virginia enjoys working in the O and P field and feels that she is helping people to live their daily lives to their best potential. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and CrossFit. .
